Our green initiatives

At Prism Care Corporation, we practice a continued commitment to the environment — it’s something you’ll hear us say again and again.

We do our best to act in an environmentally responsible manner in all aspects of our operational processes so as to minimize or eliminate waste.

We recycle all recyclable materials including paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, metal and shrink wrap used in our office and manufacturing operations. From recycling materials in our own facility, to developing leading edge Green cleaners, we have found ourselves supporting several Green initiatives, some of which we’ve listed below.

UL EcoLogo^TM is North America’s premier environmental certification program administered by Underwriters Laboratories. Long before the term ‘Green Washing’ became mainstream, we knew that telling our customers we were ‘Green’ wasn’t enough. This is why we were one of the first manufacturers to register our environmentally friendly cleaners with UL EcoLogoTM so many years ago.

We proudly display the UL EcoLogoTM on our labels. It gives our customers confidence, because they know that our products have been externally tested and proven to be as safe and eco-friendly as we claim them to be. Of course, we are constantly developing our cleaners to not only meet certification requirements, but to exceed them. When you purchase our products, you’re getting some of the Greenest cleaners available today.

In our ongoing journey to reduce our carbon footprint, we partnered with Bullfrog Power, a leader in providing clean electricity to homes and businesses throughout Canada.

As of January 2010, our office and manufacturing facility are powered by 100% renewable electricity originating from wind farms and hydroelectric plants that have been certified by the EcoLogoTM program. By supporting an organization like BullFrog Power, we are taking an active role in reducing the pollution caused by traditional oil, coal, natural gas and nuclear energy sources while helping to maintain clean air for future generations.
