We manufacture Eco-Max in our own facilities located in Ontario, Canada.
Imports of Eco-Max to our distribution partner in the United Kingdom are made by sea. These shipments are independently certified as carbon neutral according to the Gold Standard best practice label. This standard is only conferred on carbon offset projects if they yield a high ecological and social benefit as well as long-ranging and verifiable emissions reductions.
We’re new to the United Kingdom and Europe. As we work to make Eco-Max available, you can check our Where to buy page to find a retailer nearest you.
Ingredients
Common ingredient questions
No, we don’t use dyes in our products. The colour you see is the colour of the blended raw materials we use.

No, we don’t use animal ingredients in our products. Our products are registered with the Vegan Society.
The surfactants, or cleaning agents, in our products are based off of coconut and corn. In some cases, our raw material suppliers may substitute with palm oil from sustainable sources.
Our company believes in the sustainable production of the raw materials we use and is a member of the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil, a not-for-profit that unites stakeholders from the seven sectors of the palm oil industry: oil palm producers, processors or traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks/investors, and environmental and social non-governmental organisations (NGOs), to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil.
No, they do not. Our Washing-Up Liquids, except for our Baby Bottle & Dish Wash, do contain a small amount of Sodium Laureth Sulphate to provide the foaming action customers expect.
The Sodium Laureth Sulphate we use in these products is vacuum stripped of 1,4-Dioxane. Additionally, we supplement these products with Aloe Vera to reduce the possibility of skin irritation from the use of this ingredient.
Product
Common product questions
Yes, they are. Our products are registered with the Vegan Society. We don’t use animal ingredients in our products.
Our products are UL ECOLOGO certified for reduced environmental impact. ECOLOGO Certifications are voluntary, multi-attribute, life cycle-based environmental certifications that indicate a product has undergone rigorous scientific testing, exhaustive auditing or both, to prove its compliance with stringent, third-party, environmental performance standards. We’re happy to say we meet and exceed ECOLOGO criteria.
Yes, this is completely normal. While we make every effort to maintain a consistent look across our cleaners, some of our products may differ in colour due to differences in ingredients.
Additionally, some of the plant-based ingredients used in our products naturally change colour from a clear, water-like appearance to a clear, straw-like colour over time. Not to worry, though—this change is purely cosmetic and will not affect the performance of the product.
Yes, you can use Eco-Max laundry liquids in both hot and cold water.
We use plant-based thickeners to thicken our laundry liquids. Over extended periods of time, it’s possible that the thickness of the product may change. If this occurs, rest assured that this change only impacts how the product pours and should have no impact on the performance of the product itself.

Common how-tos
Our laundry liquids are packaged in bottles with removable spouts. Simply pull out the spout and pour the remaining liquid.
Another option is to simply add a small amount of water to the bottle, swirl the liquid and pour.
